Preliminary Results on Convergence Acceleration in Monte Carlo Computer Simulation on Water and Aqueous Solutions Abstract: The paper provides independent evidence that the force-biased technique improved the sampling efficiency of the Metropolis Monte Carlo method by a factor of 2-3 for liquid water. For aqueous solutions, the force-biased method has to be combined with preferential sampling to produce acceptable sampling.
